Our New Charity Status!
March 15th of 2021 was a big day for Beat Street Toronto. We officially became a charity with the CRA. This marks the resolution of a two-year campaign that started with the loss of our partnership with Wrestling Canada and began as a result our inability to clear donated funds. This is often a huge challenge for nonprofits to overcome. We are elated, we now have the ability to process donations and give tax receipts to our donors.
Children's Health Coalition Statement
Beat The Streets Toronto is in full accordance with the Children’s Health Coalition Statement. Our mission is to advance the education of low-income children and youth by providing fun and unique development activities that build social-emotional, physical literacy, and employability skills. Thus, we are deeply disappointed by Doug Ford’s decision as it will further widen the gap for low-income youth and children.
