Get to Know Tarleen

Hey there! It’s been a while. 

For those that don’t know me, I’m Tarleen Saroya. For those of you who do know me, you’re welcome ;) 

This summer, I will be working with Beat The Streets as a Summer camp counselor!

My first encounter with BTS was back in September 2016. Beat The Streets has given me many opportunities such as travelling, competing, and meeting new individuals. BTS has allowed me to believe in myself and become the best version of myself on and off the mat. 

I am 18 years old and recently graduated from Mayfield Secondary. I was captain of the Mayfield wrestling team and a student coach. I was also 2x OFSAA fourth-place medalist.  

My goal here, at BTS, is to give the summer camp kids an experience they won’t forget. My team and I have already begun this by playing our favourite games, such as Stella-Ella-Olla, capture the flag, the floor is lava, and many more!

I am looking forward to a summer filled with lots of F-U-N!
