Get to know Norah

Hey everyone! I’m Norah, a 16 year old high school student in Mississauga. I’m in the co-op program at my high school and I'm lucky enough to be able to do my term at BTS from fall-mid winter. I'm kind of nervous since it will be my first time working but it’s such an exciting opportunity that I know I won’t regret! A few things about me are that I love to be adventurous and to try new things like traveling and meeting new people. I really enjoy reading/writing, journaling, and playing sports. I believe in the importance of engaging in team sports and activities so much that I hope to somehow always be playing sports or being active in my life no matter how old I get. I plan to go to university in the future and in my high school career I’ve taken an interest in the world of business. I'll be doing fundraising and events coordination which should bring me amazing experience to allow me to grow as an employee and as as a young adult. I'm especially excited to be able to gain it all while working towards a good cause and with a great group of people. I’m really grateful to the teachers and of course Beat The Streets for offering me this opportunity!
