My experience at BTS (AMAZING)

Being at Beat the Streets may have been one of the best things that I have ever experienced in my life. Working here has changed me a lot, for the better and I really want to thank Kathy, Neal and Jessica for providing such an opportunity for me.

Throughout my work experience here, I have been able to develop many essential skills such as the ability to be organized, manage my time effectively, working well with others, being creative traditionally and digitally as well as being able to communicate more with my peers. I also got to bond very well with my supervisors and peers during meetings and the fun game days we had every Friday. I loved the fact that Kathy, Neal and Jessica were always looking out for me, supporting me and giving me useful advices to help me grow. They have pushing me towards achieving the goals that I would have never even been motivated to do on a regular day. I loved having the access to creative freedom as a marketing and communications officer and I got to work based on my own schedule. I really liked visiting the office too. One of the most important lessons that I learnt here was to be confident and seek knowledge and opportunities for myself. All thanks to the mentorship meetings I had.

Being at Beat the Streets doesn’t only just provide you with necessary skills, work habits and experiences needed to succeed in the future, it teaches you about self care, how to improve your life overall, how to create opportunities for yourself, how to discover more about what you love. Beat the Streets was an amazing place to spend my co-op at and it is a great place for anyone seeking valuable experience, a good time and self growth.

I loved being here and I really hope to get the opportunity to work at Beat the Streets again. I have learned so much more about myself and I will forever be grateful for my time at Beat the Streets.
