Get to Know Taha

Hello to anyone reading this,

My name is Taha Naous, I’m a 17 year old high school student in my final year at Stephen Lewis Secondary School in Mississauga. I'm a 4th year wrestler at Matmen Wrestling Club and a 3rd year wrestler on the Stephen Lewis Team. This is my first year working at Beat The Streets Toronto and I'm having an amazing experience that only gets better from here. I'm on board as a Camp Counselor which is probably one of the best jobs I've had in my life so far. 

A little about me is that I'm very passionate about the things I do and love to put my best foot forward to make sure I have a great experience in everything I do. I love the sport of wrestling; I don't think anything has humbled me while making me enjoy myself at the same time as much as wrestling. I've been working since the age of 14 with things such as Landscaping, Renovation, Retail, etc. I love trying new things at all times regardless of whether I like it or not; any experience is a learning one to me. I enjoy good times but I'm not afraid to confront and handle bad situations with a smile and a positive attitude while keeping calm and going at it logically.

A few random things about myself is I don't think I can go a full 3 hours without listening to music. I love being interactive no matter if it’s at school, work, or practice. I'm a very hands-on learner because in my opinion the only way to learn something is by using your own hands to do it, I'm not much of a read and learn type of person. A bad habit I have is binge-watching all shows from comedies, action, sitcoms, etc. Overall I'm a very outgoing and social person who loves to meet new people, which I think takes me pretty far in life by having people skills and good communication in my skill set. That’s pretty much it about me. I can't wait to continue working at Beat The Streets this year and hopefully the following years as well!
