Get to Know Issa!

Hey! My name is Issa Khan, I’m 19 years old and in my second year at the University of Guelph-Humber Justice Studies program. This will be my first experience working with Beat the Streets and I am ecstatic about being a part of the team and getting to work with my fellow Program Coordinators. I’m a pretty relaxed, down-to-earth person but can get very energetic when the vibe is right. Regardless, I stay polite and am very sociable. I do have experience with childcare, community/customer service, and security. So generally, I’m good with people. In my free time, I like to listen to music, hang out with my friends and family, and watch Netflix. My biggest passions are physical activity, music and street fashion. On more of a personal level, I’m passionate about helping those in need, which I hope to pursue in my future career as a police officer. I’m really looking forward to this opportunity and getting to create lasting experiences with the youth, and hopefully, bettering their life skills.
