Building Capacity for Greater Impact:
Thanks to the support of SBCCI and the Tropicana Community, we can enhance our capacity in several key areas. Funds will be allocated to strengthen our human resources (HR), governance, and fundraising strategies while focusing on activities to amplify awareness of our youth development programs and expand our service delivery to empower Black youth across Toronto.
Empowering Black Youth:
Central to our mission is empowering Black youth and fostering their holistic development. With SBCCI and Tropicana Community's support, we are developing a pilot program designed specifically for at-risk Black youth. This program focuses on enhancing their physical literacy and social-emotional skills and promoting resilience. Through targeted interventions, we aim to empower these young individuals to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Expected Outcomes:
The partnership between SBCCI and Tropicana Community will drive transformative outcomes for Beat the Streets and the Black youth we serve, including strengthened personnel growth, enhanced visibility, sustainable funding, and expanded service delivery to Black communities in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Ontario.
Conclusion:
We thank SBCCI and Tropicana Community for their continued support in empowering Black youth. Through their support, Beat the Streets can amplify its impact and create lasting change in the lives of Black youth in Toronto.
